City Hall is one of Brisbane’s beautiful heritage listed buildings built in the 1920’s, an era of elegance and style. This busy working building is the home to the Lord Mayor and the Deputy Mayor and has many cultural, social and civic events taking place within its walls each day.
Free guided tours are offered daily; with a professional guide you can gain access to many parts of the building as you learn about the history of City Hall and its art and architecture.
Clock Tower Tours are also offered with free admission, the tower is 92 metres high with a viewing platform at 76 metres, a great way to take in the ever-changing city.
Located within the City Hall is the Museum of Brisbane, ‘The People’s Place’ recording the stories and happenings of Brisbane over its lifetime; there’s lost more to see at Brisbane’s City Hall.
