The Museum of Brisbane is a museum that's a little bit different, located above City Hall which is the heart of the city and Brisbane's most historic building.
Known as a meeting place for both locals as well as Australian and International travellers, the idea was conceived to honour this age old place of people gathering by dedicating the museum to the inhabitants of the city. The exhibitions aim to capture the living history of the city folk and the changes that occur over the generations in the evolution of Brisbane; people who would appear to be everyday types are observed and their stories collected to form part of the story of Brisbane as it lives and breathes through time.
