The Out of the Box Festival for children eight years and younger is a unique and innovative festival which is exceptionally well planned to assist children to be free to learn, explore and discover within a safe environment that supports creativity and imagination.
Out of the Box Festival is a biennial event and the organisers take pride in this event being a national leader in children’s programming. The 8 day event is filled with activities and entertainment that incorporates cultures from around the world and indigenous Australian culture. It brings children together with parents, teachers and careers to learn and create together. It’s an invaluable experience for everyone involved.
Some of the highlights to check out include:
Creature: An Adaptation of Dot and the Kangaroo, a live show for the whole family incorporating acrobatics, aerialists and 3D technology
Gazillion Bubble Show, straight from Broadway it is filled with mind-blowing magic with lasers, lighting effects and spectacular bubble mastery
Wellness Workshops for children, Meditation, Yoga for Babies, Childrem’s Yoga, Tai Chi and Shaolin Kung Fu
Hanuman: The Tale Behind the Name, a mischievous and courageous story of little Hanuman who became the monkey god as his adventures come to life with narration, sketches, dance and music
Holi Throw, an experience inspired by a traditional Indian ceremony using colour to encourage expression of emotion and creativity, in an uplifting experience to the sound track of Indian fusion music
